The cast of Girls get animated to join Lena Dunham on The Simpsons season 27 premiere.
The ladies of Girls may have ended their season 4 run on HBO drifting apart, but they will come together in The Simpsons season 27 premiere, “Every Man’s Dream.”
Earlier this year it was announced that Lena Dunahm would get animated for the show, but today EW confirms that she will be joined by Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, and Jemima Kirke. None of the actresses will be making cameos as their Girls characters, but they will be appearing as friends of Dunham’s character Candace.

“Every Man’s Dream” will see Homer and Marge attending therapy and coming to the conclusion that they will embark on a trial separation. While on their break, Homer will cross paths with a pharmacist (Dunham) while picking up a prescription to treat narcolepsy. Dunham’s compatriots will ask the most obvious question, “Why Homer?”
Homer and Marge’s marriage may make about as much sense as Adam and Hannah’s to viewers of the show, but both find audiences rooting for them. Marge and Homer’s relationship will go under examination by another guest who is no stranger to speaking into a studio microphone for a living, Laura Ingraham. Ingraham will play the therapist who advises the unhappy couple.
