Just in case you were a little bummed your favorite song didn’t make the tracklist for The Hamilton Mixtape, know that it’s probably on its way.
As with all things Hamilton, the second the mixtape was announced, the fandom went wild with anticipation.
We’ve already gotten the tracklist, which features some incredible artists remixing some of the show’s most iconic songs, and we’ve already gotten to hear “My Shot” from The Roots and “It’s Quiet Uptown” from Kelly Clarkson.
Responding to rapper Lupe Fiasco wanting in on the mixtape, Miranda took no time at all in agreeing it would be an honor to feature him.
.@LupeFiasco Yes. Prepping Vol. 2. It's an honor, maestro. @RiggdUp

A questioning fan asked what was on all of our minds, which was whether or not Vol. 2 was actually gonna be a thing. It’s gonna be a thing:
What, y'all though we'd leave Schuyler Sisters unremixed? Room Where It Happens? One Last Time?
OF COURSE vol. 2!
(Lemme finish vol 1 tho) https://t.co/OE4soxfPLJ— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) November 9, 2016
So we know three of the songs that’ll be on Vol. 2 (“The Schuyler Sisters,” “The Room Where it Happens,” and “One Last Time”), plus the possibility that Lupe Fiasco will be a featured artist. Any guesses as to which song he wants to make his own?
Either way, he’s pretty pumped about the prospect:
Y'all heard him! Great show brother ??…Jefferson had the hardest verse tho! https://t.co/aU5qvLrEzv

But as Miranda says, he’s got to finish Vol. 1 first! You can pre-order the album for $14.49 right now, and you’ll get the aforementioned songs for immediate download.
The album will include artists like Regina Spektor, Sia, Wiz, John Legend, Ingrid Michaelson, Usher, and so many others.
