As Selina looks on, Mooney makes her triumphant return to Gotham. Two weeks later Bruce is still obsessed with finding out his father’s secrets. He wants to know why his father always locked himself away in his study for hours at a time.
Falcone is checking on some shipments when two men pull up and try to kill him. Gordon is disturbed to see all the trouble it’s bringing to the department and he’s sure he’s going to be fired. Leslie is checking up Barbara, but she refuses to get trauma counseling. Somehow Barbara talks Leslie into being her counselor.
Falcone wakes up strapped to a hospital gurney. He’s happy to see Penguin arrive and thrown off when he has a confession. Penguin says it was he who started the war to become the leader of Gotham. But Falcone says that it will never happen. Just as Penguin is about to kill Falcone, Gordon arrives to stop him.
Loeb arrives with Maroni’s men and orders him to leave. Of course, Gordon refuses and Loeb gives the men permission to attack. But even Maroni’s thugs are no match for our hero, especially when Bullock arrives to help. They all jump in an ambulance and escape the building.
Falcone directs them to a safe building only to find that Mooney has taken it over, with the help of some street kids turned soldiers – including Selina. Mooney is happy to see Butch alive but worried about him. She promises Falcone and Penguin slow deaths over what they did to Butch.
Maroni arrives to take their trade, but when he calls Mooney and underboss she gets offended. Maroni calls Mooney babe too many times and she shoots him in the head. Giving Bullock the chance to set everyone free.
Unfortunately, Falcone has decided that even if he survives the night He doesn’t want to be the main mob boss of Gotham anymore. But Selina catches them and brings them back to Mooney. Penguin comes back guns blazing and goes after Mooney, so Gordon and bullock escape again.
During a creepy therapy session with Barbara, Leslie learns that Barbara was the one who killed her parents. Things take a turn for the worse when Barbara pulls a knife. Just as Leslie manages to knock Barbara out, Gordon shows up.
Penguin and Mooney take their fight to the rooftop. They’re pretty even matched up when Butch shows up. Torn over who to help he shoots them both in the leg. Penguin takes the chance to push her over the edge of the building into the water.
Back at the GCPD, Kristen has a question for Nygma. She noticed that on the note he gave her from his boyfriend spells out his name. But he convinces her that it’s a coincidence. He then seems to have a mental breakdown with split personalities and we see a bit of The Riddler.
After hours of searching, Bruce still hasn’t found anything. Until Bruce remembers a clue he heard from Lucius Fox and finds a secret remote. A push of the button opens a hidden door leading into a cavern under the manor.
