Gotham has finally found its Harvey Dent! Nicholas D’Agosto will play the infamous character from the Batman universe.
D’Agosto has been added to the cast of Gotham as a recurring character. He’ll be playing Harvey Dent, the Assistant District Attorney who will later become the villain Two-Face.
Dent is being described as “handsome, warm and engaging,” according to TV Line. But just like Gordon, he will have to deal with the the corrupt side of the city. The difference in the two will be how they handle things. Gordon seems to be constantly rubbing others the wrong way. Meanwhile, Dent is a professional at keeping a positive vibe.
It wasn’t too long ago that Gotham star Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock) admitted that he’d love to see Two-Face on the show.
“I love Two-Face. I’m a big Harvey Dent guy,” McKenzie told Zap2it. “I think it’s a fascinating guy to play opposite Jim. Obviously Jim is in law enforcement, but on the street level. Then you have a guy like Harvey who’s in the judicial system.”
D’Agosto signed a deal with an option to become a series regular if Gotham is picked up for a second season, which at this point seems like a given.
You may know D’Agosto from his roles on Masters of Sex, Review, Fired Up!, and Heroes.
