Game of Thrones season 4, episode 10 airs tonight on HBO! Here is everything you need to know about the season 4 finale, titled “The Children.”
Deadly ravens will come home to roost when Game of Thrones season 4, episode 10 airs at 9:00 p.m. tonight. The final episode of the season, titled “The Children,” promises intense intrigue and heart-pounding power struggles all over the map.
The official synopsis for “The Children” says:
An unexpected arrival north of the Wall changes circumstances. Dany is forced to face harsh realities. Bran learns more of his destiny. Tyrion sees the truth of his situation.
On last week’s Wall-centric episode of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch spent a dark and terrifying night trying to protect Castle Black from attacks on multiple fronts. As Mance Rayder’s endless wilding army battered the Wall from the north, Ygritte, Tormund, and the savage Thenns infiltrated Castle Black from the south.
The resulting battle was long, and heartbreakingly bloody. Pyp fell to one of Ygritte’s arrows, while Grenn gave his life to hold the gate from a giant. Ygritte was shot in the back by young Ollie, and died in Jon’s arms.
But hey, at least Sam and Gilly kissed.
Though the Watch held on through the night, Jon grimly took it upon himself to confront Mace Rayder the next morning – one more assault by the wildlings will certainly doom the brutally reduced Black Brothers.
The preview for Game of Thrones season 4, episode 10 shows that the season finale will go beyond the Wall to King’s Landing, Meereen, and everywhere in between.
Information is scarce on Tyrion’s desperate straits, but promotional photos from “The Children” focus on dangerous new developments for the Stark children and Daenerys.
The heat – and cold – will definitely be on tonight.
