Game of Thrones‘ Michelle Fairley is ready to take on a completely different role: the actress has been cast in Suits season 3.
Now that Michelle Fairley’s Game of Thrones character Catelyn Stark has met her end, the actress is ready to commit to other projects.
The 48-year-old British actress’ first post-Thrones television role has now been revealed: TV Line reports that Fairley will recur on USA Network’s Suits in its third season.
Her character Ava Hessington is a British oil tycoon who comes to Harvey (Gabriel Macht) for help when a lawsuit threatens her family business.
For those who prefer to see Fairley in more Catelyn-like roles, she can also been seen in the upcoming movies The Invisible Woman (a Charles Dickens biopic also starring Ralph Fiennes) and the Ironclad sequel Ironclad: Battle for Blood (a historical movie set in 13th-century England).
Meanwhile Richard Madden, whose character Robb Stark also met his end in Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones, has been cast as Prince Charming in the upcoming live-action Cinderella adaptation.
The season 3 finale of Game of Thrones, titled “Mhysa,” airs Sunday night at 9/8c on HBO.
