Hypable’s Game of Thrones podcast Game of Owns is going to be speaking to writer Bryan Cogman, who penned Sunday’s episode “Kissed by Fire.” Submit your questions here!
The Game of Owns podcast is excited to announce that writer Bryan Cogman will be joining the show for this Friday’s episode to discuss season 3, episode 5.
Cogman has worked on Game of Thrones since season 1, and has written one episode per season. Aside from last week’s episode “Kissed by Fire,” he also wrote “Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things” and “What Is Dead May Never Die.”
On Monday’s episode of the podcast, we all expressed our enthusiasm for his most recent episode, with some of the hosts calling it the best of the season so far.
We saw some huge emotional developments for several of the characters: Jon and Ygritte finally acted on the sexual tension that had been building between them, Jaime and Brienne had their confrontation in the hot tub, Gendry told Arya goodbye, and Robb chose to execute Rickard Karstark following his betrayal.
We’re sure you all have a lot of questions for Cogman about what went into his decisions about how to adapt these iconic moments from the book! Many fans have been wondering about Gendry’s use of the term “m’lady,” while others might be curious to learn more about Cogman’s characterizations of new characters Selyse and Shireen.
And now’s your chance to ask Cogman anything, by posting a comment to this post! We’ll be speaking to Cogman Thursday night, so make sure you’ve submitted your questions before then!
