Friday marks the return of Fringe with 4×15 ‘A Short Story About Love!’ And a lot of information has been revealed, including a description of the clip shown exclusively at WonderCon!
In this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly, the following description of the episode is given:
Agent Dunham chases a perfume-making loony while Peter discovers a secret literally stuck to his eyeball in a macabre, revelatory, and (surprise!) deeply romantic winner. Mythology geeks will dig the visit to The Observer’s apartment. Shippers will swoon over the ending. And prepare to hit the pause button when Walter talks about Canadian beaver, or you’ll miss something over your long hard laughter.
At WonderCon, fans were treated to a screening of the opening minutes of the episode, and IGN reports that they were shown:
A tender scene between Olivia and Nina (not “Meana,” as Blair Brown herself labeled “Evil Nina”) where Olivia expressed concerns about the fake memories she’s been having. Olivia is confused because some of the things she remembers are things Peter never would have known himself. Cases he never worked on. Places he had never been. So how can people be telling her that he is unintentionally imparting these memories onto her? Another aspect of this new episode that fans will enjoy is that we’ll all finally get a big resolution about whether or not Peter will be able to return to his old timeline, and whether or not Peter is looking for home, or is home already.
We are optimistic about the swoon-worthy ending! Do you think this means that Peter is indeed already in the right universe?
