Uber is making it easier to stand up to fear this weekend by offering everyone free rides to numerous LGBT-oriented places of interest from Friday to Monday in the U.S.
Between now and Monday, June 20, each Uber user can take two rides worth up to $20 each to and from preselected places in 40 cities. For example, Uber riders in the Los Angeles area can get free rides to the popular gay bar The Abbey, Will Rogers State Beach, and the Hollywood and WeHo LGBT centers (among a few other places).
Below is a complete list of cities offering free Uber rides. Click yours to see which LGBT-related places Uber will take you to or pick you up from for free:

The free Uber rides come in light of last weekend’s shooting in Orlando, Florida, where a gunman killed 49 people and injured another 53 at a LGBT-oriented nightclub. It is the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
Noticeably absent from the list is the city where the shooting occurred. There, Uber is working with officials to offer free rides for families of the victims.
