We’re getting down to the wire with new show premieres. Check out what will be debuting this week on Fall 2015 TV, from October 12 to October 18.
Well readers, it’s been a long month. It is week four of fall 2015 television show debuts, and the networks are winding down with their premieres. Over the past few weeks, we have welcomed old shows back onto our air waves and have let new shows into our hearts (Quantico, no pressure, but we have high hopes for you.)
This week, enjoy the final few shows marking the start of the new season, and of course, let us know what you’re watching in the comments below!
October 12
‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ The CW, 8 p.m.
The CW’s only new show of the fall is a high-concept one. It’s also garnered some positive early reviews, which makes it worth checking out. If you liked Galavant last season, or wish your life was a musical, we’d recommend you check this out. We know we will be.
‘Jane the Virgin’ The CW 9 p.m.
Finally! The telenovela about a virgin who was artificially inseminated with another woman’s husband’s sperm by his (slightly) crazy sister is back! Only, we all know Jane The Virgin is so, so, so much more than that description. It’s about family, whether blood-related or not, trying to achieve your dreams, whether it means giving up other passions in the process, and it’s about the amazing drama that could never happen in real life. A guy being buried in cement? Yeah that never happens.
October 13
‘Chicago Fire’ NBC, 10 p.m.
What’s in store for Firehouse 51? Check out the original program in the Chicago series, Chicago Fire on Tuesday to find out!
October 14
‘Star Wars Rebels’ Disney XD, 9:30 p.m.
Have you heard all the news to come out of New York Comic-Con about Star Wars Rebels? No? Well, we’ve got you covered! Hypable writer Michal interviewed the cast and crew of the show to get the scoop on season 2.
October 16
‘Undateable’ NBC 8 p.m.
This show is NBC’s longest-running comedy currently on-air. Let that ruminate a bit then let us know how you feel about it because we feel simultaneously frustrated and encouraged. Maybe NBC needs this blank slate to rebuild out of the hole the 30 Rock/The Office/Parks and Rec era left behind. Bottom line, Undateable is a funny show and as it moves into it’s regular half-hour time slot this week, we’re putting money on its season of live shows paying off.
‘Truth Be Told’ NBC 8:30 p.m.
NBC’s newest comedy, Truth Be Told looks like it’ll need to settle into itself throughout the season to really take off, but it holds promise.
