Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch, known Gryffindor, has taken the Ilvermorny quiz on Pottermore too! Guess which house she got?
Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies, is a big fan of the book series.
Having always identified as a Gryffindor despite her character’s Ravenclaw roots, Lynch was pleased to discover last month that she was indeed a Gryffindor on Pottermore, too.
But what about if she’d gone to the American wizarding school, Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?
Last week, J.K. Rowling released a lengthy article exploring the backstory of Ilvermorny and its founder Isolt Sayre, and also released a brand new sorting quiz.

The four houses of Ilvermorny are Horned Serpent, Wampus, Pukwudgie and Thunderbird. According to Rowling’s story, they represent the mind, the body, the heart and the soul, respectively; Horned Serpent attracts scholars, Wampus attracts warriors, Pukwudgie attracts healers, and Thunderbird attracts adventurers.
Fans have been busy taking the quiz and trying to make sense of their new sortings, which seem to compliment the Hogwarts houses somewhat despite not directly correlating.
Evanna Lynch obviously had to take the quiz, too, and found herself in what appears to be the most popular house: Thunderbird.

The Thunderbird is a magical creature which can create storms as it flies. It was named by Isolt’s son Chadwick, “an intelligent but often temperamental boy.”
According to a poll we did earlier this week, Thunderbird is also the most common house to be sorted into. 38% of all voters have ended up in the house of the soul; 28% are in Pukwudgie, 22% in Horned Serpent, and a measly 12% in Wampus.
Incidentally, Thunderbird is also the house which J.K. Rowling herself identifies with.
