Tonight, Elementary spins the story so that you will know the murderer before Sherlock Holmes. Preview the episode and cast your predictions!
The case of the week motif can grow a bit stale. But tonight’s Elementary hopes to break that by giving the audience a chance to be ahead of Sherlock rather than trailing along behind. Over the course of season 3, the mysteries almost took a back seat for personal development of the characters. By the end of the hour most of the mystery was not solved and it was left to Sherlock to go through a sleepless night to put all the pieces together and bring everyone around to his findings.
Previously on ‘Elementary’
Joan Watson lands herself an arch enemy who causes a personal catastrophe. Following the death of Andrew, Joan begins to realize that there is no room for a personal life to mix with her working life. Sherlock seems a bit skeptical for Joan to succumb to his way of living, especially when she suggests a move back to the brownstone. Sherlock and Bell took their own field trip to the zoo last week and discovered an extinct animal trading ring.
The promos all week have noted that this week’s Elementary season 3, episode 15, “When Your Number’s Up,” will put fans one step ahead of Sherlock Holmes. You will know the murderer before Sherlock arrives at his conclusion perhaps eliminating the need for the narrative to convey the all too common intricate exposition.
Watch a clip of tonight’s episode and preview what this week’s murderer is up to:
