Good news for Dracula fans! NBC’s new fall drama premiered to great ratings, making it the second highest Friday premiere in three years.
As TV fans, we all know that Fridays aren’t so much a night for television but for going out, or rather staying in and Netflix binging until your shows return. But it seems that Dracula beat the odds and premiered to fantastic ratings!
Dracula premiered to 5.3 million viewers this past Friday, making it the second highest Friday drama premiere in three years, only behind Grimm‘s series premiere on October 28, 2011.

Dracula‘s second episode is set to air this coming Friday, November 1. The synopsis reads:
Grayson takes Lady Jayne as a lover even as he investigates her lethal connections to The Order of the Dragon. Grayson helps Mina face a critical challenge at medical school. Van Helsing continues his quest to develop a solar vaccine to enable Grayson to conquer sunlight. Jonathan Harker strikes a devil’s bargain with Grayson which has unexpected consequences.
We loved the series premiere, so we’ll definitely keep watching. Let’s hope the show can keep the high ratings!
