In the latest of a recent barrage of Doctor Who series 7 publicity material, BBC America has released yet another Doctor Who trailer featuring more dinosaurs, Daleks and Weeping Angels than ever before!
Seemingly to promote the freshly announced Sept. 1 transmission date, the trailer has plenty of new footage and gives us several glimpses at the allies, adversaries and world’s The Doctor will be exploring with the Ponds in the coming five episodes. From dinosaurs writhing in agony on the floor to River Song and The Doctor being cornered by Weeping Angels, this could be the most exciting series 7 trailer yet!

Noticeably absent from the trailer once again is episode 4 “The Power of Three,” which has been described as a unique and bizarre take on Earth Invasion stories. The episode has received several reshoots and pick-up shots. While in itself this isn’t especially concerning, the lack of footage in all three Doctor Who trailers has led fans to speculate the episode could still be subject to script changes.
Written by Steven Moffat and starring Matt Smith, Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan, “Asylum of the Daleks” airs next Saturday in the United Kingdom, America and Canada. Check out the official synopsis for the Doctor Who series premiere episode below.
