Dexter has had another teaser trailer air by its owners, Showtime, and also news has leaked of the first 7 episode titles of Dexter season 8.
Dexter season 8 has added a second teaser trailer to its credentials after last week’s debut trailer for the final season.
Showtime has kindly provided a sneak peak at Dexter’s eighth season, but once again, they aren’t giving too much away.
The latest teaser trailer replays the seasons of the series, taking memorable moments of killing his victims, right up to the finale of season 7, where Deb finally sees her brother for what he really is.
The teaser trailer is somewhat of an anticlimax, with nothing really for fans to get excited about. Nothing’s given away, nothing is hinted, and nothing new is shown.
However, what he can get excited about is the news that the Dexter season 8 episode guide have all been given names up until episode 7.
DexterDaily.com released the news earlier today and we can finally reveal that the first episode in Dexter season 8 will be titled, “A Beautiful Day.” The full breakdown of the first seven episodes are as followed;
8×01 “A Beautiful Day”
8×02 “Every Silver Lining…”
8×03 “What’s Eating Dexter Morgan?”
8×04 “Scar Tissue”
8×05 “This Little Piggy”
8×06 “A Little Reflection”
8×07 “Dress Code”
8×08-12 – TBA
Dexter’s episode 8×01 will be directed by Keith Gordon, who had been with the series during 2006-2010, with his final outing in episode 5×10, “In the Beginning.”
If we had to pick one episode for all fans to keep an eye on, it will be the second episode, “Every Silver Lining…” in which the producers have handed the reigns over to none other than Michael C. Hall. When the news broke, Jennifer Carpenter took no time in heading to Twitter to reveal just how brilliant Hall is as a director, and it’s almost such a shame we’ve had to wait 8 seasons for this to happen.
Dexter season 8 episode 1 premieres on June 30, 2013 on Showtime, with Hall’s directorial debut happening one week later on July 7, 2013.
