Last year The Hobbit and 24-hour diner Denny’s teamed up for a special menu themed around the film. For Desolation of Smaug, they’ve done it again.
Denny’s The Desolation of Smaug menu includes seven “authentic” Hobbit-inspired dishes and several new creations, including “Smaug’s Fire Burger.”

The “Build Your Own Hobbit Slam” has been reinvented for Smaug and now has options like the Honey Cake French Toast, Sweet Potato Pecan Pancakes and a Hearty Breakfast Sausage.
“We’re thrilled to bring the taste of Middle-earth back to America’s Diner,” said Denny’s John Dillon, vice president of marketing. “Last year’s menu attracted both Denny’s guests and fans alike with a combination of movie-inspired elements and traditional holiday flavors. This year we’re elevating the experience with the introduction of adventurous new flavors, exciting exclusive content and once-in-a-lifetime prizes, taking our guests on a truly authentic dining journey.”
The full special menu can be seen below. The cover of this menu features the Desolation of Smaug teaser poster in which Bilbo stands at the foot of Smaug’s mountain.
