Teen Wolf may not be bringing back Allison Argent, but it is bringing back Crystal Reed. Last night, the actress conducted a Twitter Q&A with fans.
Season 3 brought about the devastating reality that Allison Argent would no longer be alive in the Teen Wolf world. For a few years, we thought we’d never see Crystal Reed on the show again, despite the show’s penchant for bringing back supposedly dead characters.
Though there doesn’t seem to be plans to have Allison return any time soon, we will be seeing an Argent ancestor this season who bears more than just a slight resemblance to our favorite hunter.
On Tuesday, ahead of Teen Wolf season 5, episode 12, “Damnatio Memoriae,” Reed took to Twitter to answer questions from fans about her time on set, her interests, and her goals as an actress. Below, we’ve gathered the tweets most related to her upcoming Teen Wolf episode.
The actress started off with an excited hello to her followers, who couldn’t wait to bombard her with questions.
HELLO !!!!!! :)

Reed knows the impact Allison has had on the show’s fans, and though everyone was devastated when the character died, it’s great that we can get a glimpse into the Argent family’s past, especially since it’s not just a random actor playing Allison’s family member.
I hope I can make you proud. #AskCrystal https://t.co/RskrDlj72T

Reed says she didn’t get to act opposite any of her former castmates, but we can’t help but hold onto the idea that maybe — just maybe — they filmed something new with Allison.
Unfortunately I didn't get to act with any of them :( #AskCrystal https://t.co/OVNRc0FHOv

But though we’re sad this is just a guest appearance, there’s plenty to look forward to!
I wanted to explore the challenge of a role in the 1700's and wrap my head around French culture. https://t.co/EG790PBgYB

I spend a lot of time on my French Accent. Having that in the back of my mind was a challenge. #AskCrystal https://t.co/UY1ZZg1x2i

It also looks like Teen Wolf gave Reed a good look at how much she enjoyed period pieces. Perhaps we’ll be seeing her in similar roles more often?
It exceeded my expectations. I have to do more! #AskCrystal https://t.co/nqBxm5KxDd

It’s too bad Allison isn’t around because you know she’d get it DONE.

In the end, Reed is as grateful for Teen Wolf fans as we are for her, and there’s no better feeling than that.
That support is one of the main reasons I wanted to come back. Its the best feeling ever. Thank you! #AskCrystal https://t.co/vpdLz25Std
