Before their upfront presentation on Wednesday, CBS has announced their schedule for the Fall 2015 season.
Notably, CBS will temporarily place The Big Bang Theory at 8 p.m. on Mondays like they did last year to promote their new comedy 8:30 p.m. comedy Life in Pieces. In November, Big Bang Theory will move to Thursdays, and the 8 p.m. Monday slot will hold the new series Supergirl starring Melissa Benoist.
Interestingly CBS has opted to place Supergirl in the same slot Fox airs their DC drama Gotham.
The network also announced this morning that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will end this year, with a two-hour series finale airing on September 27. Original stars William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger will return for the grand finale.
