In some incredibly exciting news, the massively talented Daniel Bruhl has officially joined Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War in a currently unknown role.
Although, reports suggest he may play a villain in the film, and could potentially be the main villain in Marvel’s upcoming film Doctor Strange.
The actor has been nominated for multiple awards, including a Golden Globe for his role where he starred alongside another Marvel favorite in Rush, where he played Chris Hemsworth’s rival.
Hemsworth is obviously a huge part of the Marvel universe, as he plays Thor, and it’s exciting to find out that Bruhl will be joining one of Marvel’s most anticipated films of 2016.
Bruhl has put out some incredible performances in recent years, and even if he has a small role in Civil War, it should be a highlight of the Captain America sequel. He’ll join Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.
Marvel President Kevin Feige says, “With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes.”
