Captain America 3’s release date has been set for May 6, 2016. This means it will be released on the same day as Warner Bros.’ Batman Vs Superman.
There’s been some secrecy around Marvel’s May 6, 2016 film, but THR is reporting that Captain America 3 will be released the same day as Warner Bros. Batman Vs Superman film.
Marvel certainly has a lot of faith in the Captain America franchise, and since its sequel is hitting theaters soon, the positive reviews are already rolling in.
Will Warner Bros. buck at the sight of Marvel challenging them with a stout superhero franchise? We’re unsure, but it’s unlikely Warner Bros. would be willing to switch dates since it would look like they’re unsure of their new superhero duo.
Marvel has become known for scheduling films years ahead of time and this vote of confidence will surely give the cast and crew of Captain America: The Winter Soldier a good feeling as they head into their promotional tour.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will hit theaters April 4, 2014. The sequel stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Frank Grillo and Samuel L. Jackson.
