Holt’s longtime nemesis returns to the precinct and we get a look into Jake and Terry’s friendship on Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 2, episode 2, “Chocolate Milk.”
We have known Kyra Sedgwick will be appearing on the show for quite some time, but most of the details about her role have been quiet. Judging by the stills and videos released however, Captain Holt and Deputy Chief Wuntch go way, way back.
Sedgwick filmed a few episodes for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so regardless what happens on “Chocolate Milk,” this will not be the last time we see here.
While Holt and Wuntch are off reviving an old rivalry, Jake and Terry are busy looking into a crime committed at a chocolate milk bar. Hipsters and their deliciously genius restaurants, amirite? As the synopsis says below, their friendship is tested and Terry somehow ends up in the hospital. We’re hopeful that they turn out to be better friends than they originally thought.
Jake also is holding up a sign that has what looks to be an image of an orange and ‘No Joos’ on it. Five points to whoever comes up with the cleverest reason why.
And what is going on with Rosa and Boyle, pictured together, at a party? We are going to take a guess and say they end up going undercover for an investigation. Boyle is wearing a suit with the Jamaican and what looks to be the Ethiopian flags. Rosa is wearing wedges. Finally, why does Boyle have cornrows? Seems like nothing short of a miracle that his hair was even long enough to accomplish that.
The official synopsis for ‘Chocolate Milk’ is:
“Holt is taken by surprise when his longtime nemesis, Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch (guest star Sedgwick) arrives for an inspection of his precinct. Meanwhile, Jake and Terry test the boundaries of ‘work friends’ vs. ‘friend friends’ as they investigate a stabbing at a hipster chocolate milk bar in the all-new ‘Chocolate Milk’ episode of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine.'”
