New pictures, promo, and details about the upcoming 150th episode of Bones “The Ghost in the Machine” have been recently released, promising a serious tone and a heartwarming episode for the show.

The 100th episode of Bones was important for the show and advanced the plot while keeping real to themes. In the 100th episode Booth (David Boreanaz) told Brennan (Emily Deschanel) that he wanted to give their relationship a try and that he’d always known he’d been in love with her. They had a flashback to the first time the pair met, which meant viewers got to see Zach Addy (Eric Millegan) again.

Thanks to executive producer Hart Hanson, viewers can get a peek at the guest star of the episode, Cameron Defario, through his audition video. You can view him singing “Mad World” on YouTube. Be forewarned, wasps and mixed tapes have a role in this episode as reported by Zap2it.

The synopsis suggests an emotional episode for the team. “The Jeffersonian team investigates the death of a young boy whose soul remains very much alive. When psychic Avalon Harmonia (guest star Cyndi Lauper) attempts to help the deceased’s spirit cross over, each member of the team begins to question his or her own beliefs about life after death in the all-new “The Ghost in The Machine.”

The video seems to hint that the case will be viewed through the eyes of the victim, or at least narrated by him. Do you think that’s why Avalon Harmonia will return?
