Disney may not want to continue its Frozen franchise, but how about Big Hero 6?
Fresh off of its Oscar win for Best Animated Feature, Big Hero 6 is one of Walt Disney Animation Studio’s biggest grossing films of all time.
So are there any plans for a Big Hero 7? (Or, er, Big Hero 6 2? Big Hero 12? We’ll sort out the maths later.)
While Disney is keeping tight-lipped about its plans for the franchise, there seems to be a strong case for continuing the Big Hero 6 adventure; in the case of Frozen, the creators would have to come up with a brand new story after the happy ending had already been written.

Speaking to Screen Rant, voice actor Genesis Rodriguez (Honey Lemon) said, “There’s rumblings of something else happening.”
And considering the movie’s success, “I doubt that they wouldn’t want to do another one.”
The “something else” that might be happening, of course, could be a short film. After Frozen and Tangled, it’s beginning to seem like the standard way for Disney to cap off its big hits.
