The ladies of Destiny’s Child have reunited for a new single on Kelly Rowland’s forthcoming album, and it’s available to listen to now!
“You’ve Changed” brings Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams back together for another group performance. Rowland’s album “Talk A Good Game” will drop on June 18.
In a statement to Billboard, Rowland says that it’s not a Destiny’s Child song per say. “It’s me featuring Beyoncé and Michelle.”
The song was posted on Rowland’s official SoundCloud page last night but has since been removed. Naturally the song surfaced elsewhere (in lower quality):
Listening to “You’ve Changed,” you can easily tell that the song is certainly not an equally-split performance. Reports indicate that the three ladies weren’t even in the same studio together when laying down their vocals. We liked hearing Beyoncé ask Rowland and Williams at the beginning if they “want to do it again,” referring to getting back together.
It is the second time this year that the Destiny’s Child ladies have united for a new song. In January, they released “Nuclear” as part of “Love Songs” album which was a compilation of their greatest hits. They made a “surprise” appearance together during Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Half Time Show performance that same month.
We learned earlier this month that Rowland will be joining The X Factor season 3 in the United States. She’ll sit next to judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, and Paulina Rubio. While it’s her first time judging a talent competition in the United States, Rowland was a judge on the U.K. version of the show in 2011.
