Rachel Sprague

A two-time graduate from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, Rachel first earned her Bachelor’s degree in English in 2010 and liked OSU so much she decided to stay an extra year to get her Master’s in order to become a Language Arts teacher. Currently living in Cincinnati while substitute teaching, working at Barnes & Noble, and looking for a full-time teaching job, Rachel also likes to geek out over many things, though mainly books and television.

Rachel is new to the Hypable team, bringing you the latest news on The Mindy Project, Revenge, and The Walking Dead. Her other favorite shows include loads of BBC series such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Downton Abbey, as well as a few American ones like Once Upon a Time and New Girl. However, she still mourns the loss of her favorite television greats, Pushing Daisies and Freaks and Geeks from so long ago.

As an avid reader, Rachel gobbles up anything she can get her hands on, but her true love always manifests itself in Young Adult literature. One of her favorite authors is John Green, New York Times Bestselling author of The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska. She loves watching the video blog John does with his brother, Hank (called Vlogbrothers), and works hard to be the best Nerdfighter she can be. Other favorite books include Pride and Prejudice, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, and The Lord of the Rings (including The Hobbit).

If Rachel had to choose one food to eat for the rest of her life, it would be pizza.
