Two new photos reveal our first looks at Arrow season 4 and The Flash season 2.
If October seems too far away, you’re in luck. We have first look photos for the new seasons of Arrow and The Flash.
‘Arrow’
Our first look at Arrow season 4 is of Felicity and Oliver.
“We’re eyeing a lighter tone,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim says. Arrow, he acknowledges, has been “very dark” since the middle of season 2 with the return of Slade Wilson. But, though Arrow will have a lighter tone in season 4, he promises, “It’s never going to be The Flash!”
Says EP Andrew Kreisberg, “When the season starts, [Oliver’s] in much a better place. He’s happy. He’s in love. That feeling infuses all the characters. There’s a little bit more fun [and] more humor” in season 4, as Oliver makes his transition from The Arrow to Green Arrow.
Arrow season 4 premieres Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
‘The Flash’
Speaking of The Flash, our first look at season 2 features most of the main cast in S.T.A.R. Labs looking shocked at something off-screen.
The Flash season 1 ended with Eddie shooting himself, which erased Eobard Thawne from existence. There was no time to grieve, though, as a wormhole opened up over Central City.
Season 2 will “pick up about six months later, and we’re going to piece together how the storm has affected everyone,” says star Grant Gustin. Of the new status quo with a rewritten history, “It’s not as different as you’d think, but as we move forward, some things will blow fans’ minds.”
The Flash season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
