In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 3×18, Team Coulson takes serious risks for questionable gains. Here are a few hints for “The Singularity.”
Mom and Dad have an argument
Over the course of the series, Coulson and May have been exceptionally good at avoiding discussion of their fears and feelings. But it turns out that this doesn’t work as well when the Director and his right-hand woman are both afraid of the same thing. Harsh realities collide with raw emotions in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 3×18, and May and Coulson are forced to grapple with deadly circumstances, and the danger of overlooking both friends and enemies.
A new team is forming
Daisy’s hard-won team of Secret Warriors may have crumbled like a cookie in last week’s episode, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of powered collaborations. In fact, it doesn’t even mean we’ve seen the last of powered collaborations involving Daisy — just that what was once a dream team may now have become more of a nightmare than anything else.
Lincoln has just the worst day
Lincoln Campbell has never been a master of zen, but the events of last week make him something of a live-wire in “The Singularity.” To make matters worse, rising tensions within S.H.I.E.L.D. lead to both calculated and spontaneous decisions that put Lincoln in an even more precarious position. “Sparky” has a rough time of it in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 3×18, and looking forward, we’re none too certain that things are going to get better.
Fitz and Simmons are serious business
Down on field agents and desperate for answers, Coulson sends Fitz and Simmons on a mission to find a man who may be able to cook up a cure for Daisy. But the already-risky proposition leads the two scientists into a bewildering and dangerous maze of seriously weird science… and more than one confrontation guaranteed to leave you breathless.
Bonus hint: I am the shield in the darkness.
