Ships this week are lead by Agent Carter, New Girl, Glee, and more. Every week, ships, A.K.A. relationships, are highlighted on our favorite TV shows. Which were your favorite partners and pairings this week?
Did your favorite ship sail this week, did a new one launch, or did yours sadly sink? If you love shipping, you know the drama that shipping wars bring. Your ships don’t have to be canon for you to love them, and that’s half the fun.
Remember, if we didn’t include your favorite, give a suggestion to the writer who usually covers your fandom in the recap discussion or in the comments below.
‘Agent Carter’ – All Aboard The Jarvises
Passengers: Edwin Jarvis and Anna Jarvis
Sunset Cruise: It took about fifteen seconds for the unseen Anna Jarvis to become a running joke in the Agent Carter fandom, but what we learned in this week’s episode turned our laughter bittersweet. Having fallen in love in Budapest just before the war, Jarvis risked his life and honor to save the Jewish Anna from Hungary. But the plan went awry, and only Howard Stark’s intervention saved the couple from becoming casualties of hatred and injustice.
Ship Status: At last sighting, the good ship was sailing sweetly – and still is, we’re happy to say.

‘Glee’ – All Aboard Brittana
Passengers: Brittany Pierce and Santana Lopez
Sunset Cruise: Brittany and Santana have built a solid, loving relationship that grew from a true friendship, and despite a few mature attempts to remain “just friends” as they went out separately into the world, they finally decided that they were happier together. This week we got a private glimpse of how their relationship has solidified since last season, and then later in the episode, Santana pops the big question! Glee’s had its fair share of marriage proposals, from the sweet to the disastrous, but not even stick-in-the-mud Kurt can ruin the sweet honesty of Santana’s public declaration and Brittany’s immediate acceptance.
Ship Status: Hoist the mainsail, scuttle the jib and to quote Captain Jack Sparrow, “Bring me that horizon.” Throw in a sunset for good measure – it looks like smooth seas for these two.

‘New Girl’ – All Aboard Ryness
Passengers: Jess and Ryan
Sunset Cruise: On this week’s episode the pair decided to come clean to their co-workers that they are dating. It caused a lot of problems for Jess when the teachers thought she was favoring Ryan over them. So she finally gave a speech about loving her job. The shocker was her announcement that she also loved Ryan. It was their first time exchanging the “L” word.
Ship Status: This one has been dutifully chugging around port under the cover of darkness. Now it’s all out in the open for a daytime cruise. Break out the party hats.
