Jack prepares to save the world one (likely) final time on 24 season 9, episode 12, “10:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m.” Check out video previews and the synopsis.

There were some jokes made at 24‘s expense when producers announced that, despite being named for how many hours are in a day, the show would only feature 12 episodes in real-time. Well, those tricky 24 producers have enacted their petty revenge today with the reveal that the finale will officially be called “10:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m,” covering the full 24 hours as some expected.

And the time jump may very well be necessary in an episode that has so much to cover. The Russian threat has been neutralized, but Jack and friends still must find Cheng and stop the impending war against the Chinese. That’s not even mentioning Audrey’s captivity or Jack’s further efforts to clear his name and go home.

Here are two video previews of season 9, episode 12, “10:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m.”:

First, the official teaser, which promises “one stunning twist.”

And a clip highlighting Jack and Chloe’s reunion.

The official synopsis for 24 season 9, episode 12, “10:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m.” is:

In the highly anticipated season finale, the clock ticks toward the final seconds of Jack Bauer’s most heroic day. As the world teeters on a terror plot of mass proportions, Jack and the team reunite one last time to avert an imminent international crisis. With little time left and the fate of the free world on the line, Jack is faced with an unthinkable and grave decision. Lives will be lost and the American administration will grapple with the day’s most devastating news as the clock stops in the all-new “Day 9: 10:00 PM – 11:00 AM” Event Series Finale episode of 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY
