Funded by fans from all over the globe, Buffering is a community-driven project, made alongside the fans who’ve supported it from the beginning. The pilot, which was posted on the official Buffering YouTube page, was made and posted two years ago. Now, the creators of the show, which includes Curt Mega himself, are ready for fans to experience the series finale in the sixth and final episode. Check out the trailer for the final episode below:

The very special series finale also includes a lot of familiar names and faces, such as Joe Moses (Starkid: A Very Potter Musical, Ani, The Joe Moses Showses) as Powers Furberg, Titus Makin Jr. (CW’s Star Crossed, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy) as Roger Murtaugh, Dominic Barnes (Glee, Modern Family) as Darren’s Cousin, Tessa Netting (Broadway’s Billy Elliot, Nickelodeon’s Fred the Show and YouTuber) as Tessa and Chris Mast (The Eric Andre Show) as Dr. H.
Curt Mega had this to say about writing the series finale: “When we sat down to write our finale, nothing seemed more obvious for an epic conclusion than a superhero movie. This episode is an homage to everything that makes the hero’s journey worth watching. It’s about a team of misfits who are stronger together than they are apart. It’s a love letter to everything that makes Hollywood wonderful and a parody of everything that makes it a nightmare. It’s a comedy about making something from nothing. When life falls apart, make a web series.”
The Buffering series finale will be released on December 12.
