Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele aren’t the only two characters in Fifty Shades of Grey! Meet the supporting cast in new character posters.
We give thanks today to the official Fifty Shades of Grey Twitter account for giving the non-Christian or Ana-shaped characters in the upcoming movie some love.
Because while Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will certainly be fabulous in their roles, it’s the side-characters who really flesh out the world of a story. Let’s take a look at some of Christian and Ana’s closest friends and family members.
First up, meet Christian’s sister Mia Grey, played by Rita Ora:

Mia is bubbly and outgoing, with a knack for music and languages. Her short hairstyle is very Alice, no?
Next up there’s Christian’s adoptive parents, whom you might remember from the trailer. They’re played by Marcia Gay Harden and Andrew Airlie:

And finally we’ve got Eloise Mumford as Kate Kavanagh, Ana’s best friend and confidante:

It’ll be interesting to see if tensions between Christian and Kate run as high on screen as they do in the novel. While initially supporting of Ana and Christian’s romance, Kate is not happy when she realises the truth about their affair.
