Some special guests are set to drop by to help our coaches mentor the top 10 in preparation for their live performances.
The many talented musicians we have seen this season have already been narrowed down to the the top 10, which means we only have a few weeks left!
Clive Davis
There have been a lot of celebrity mentors on The Voice, but it’s safe to say this week’s knows more about the music business than all of them. Music industry executive Clive Davis has been around the block a few (million) times, and has worked with pretty much every legendary act ever. He may be 82, but he still knows what’s up, and it meant a lot to some of the contestants to get a chance to meet him.
Even More Mentors!
Have you gotten the impression that season 7’s contestants have gone thoroughly un-mentored? No? Well, someone has, because they have invited MORE mentors in for this season. We can look forward to the legendary Diana Ross, Colbie Caillat, Meghan Trainor, and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump.
Taylor Swift
One of this season’s 10 (!!!) advisers is stopping by once again, only this time to perform. Taylor Swift will take the stage Tuesday night to sing her new hit “Blank Space,” and here’s hoping she brings the awesome music video to life, the same way she did last night at the AMAs.
This Week
Check out the promo for this week’s episodes, in which they perhaps give too much credit to Luke Wade’s two-second screw-up. It was not exactly “The Moment That Shocked America.” It was the moment that made America say, “Oooo…awkward.” Calm down, The Voice.
As a reminder, these are our top 10 contestants:
Team Adam: Chris Jamison, Damien, Matt McAndrew
Team Gwen: Anita Antoinette, Ryan Sill, Taylor John Williams
Team Pharrell: DaNica Shirey, Luke Wade
Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd, Reagan James
Who will survive this week’s eliminations and make it to the next round?
