Wes Bentley sticks around the grounds for one more night on AHS: Freak Show tonight as his ghostly portrayal of Edward Mordrake finds a victim to take back to hell. It sounds terrifying, but the interview process reminds us more of a therapy session.
Last week on ‘AHS: Freak Show’
Carny lore prohibits performing on Halloween. If a troupe decides to hold a show they will summon the spirit of Edward Mordrake, a 19th century man with two faces. That does not stop Bette and Dot from attempting to upstage Elsa and sneak in a rehearsal. But when a mysterious psychic, Maggie Esmeralda, arrives and predicts Elsa’s return to fame, the spirit is summoned.

After going deep into Ethel’s history, Mordrake decides that the fallen performer and guilt ridden woman is not ready to leave Earth just yet.
Tonight on ‘AHS: Freak Show’
Mordrake may not have taken Ethel Darling, but he is not giving up until he finds the purest freak soul present among the camp. Maggie and Jimmy continue to hit it off, but the plans of Stanley are sure to end whatever good seeds the con artist may start to sow.
Finn Wittrock revealed that episode 4 will tell the tale of what makes Twisty so twisted.
Ryan Murphy explained the role to actor John Carroll Lynch, and it was the back story of the clown that convinced Lynch to take the role. Speaking to Buzzfeed, Lynch said, “His actions are horrific, but his motives are really strangely, oddly pure. And that’s what is most human and most disturbing about it… You can have the most wonderful motives for what you do, but if what you do harms other people, you’re fooling yourself. I hope that’s what people get out of [this character]. If it terrifies people, I’m OK with that — this show is called Horror Story after all — but I hope they see a reflection of their own lives.”
