Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel has joined the cast of The Scorch Trials.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed today that Nathalie Emmanuel will be taking on the role of Harriet in The Maze Runner Chapter II: The Scorch Trials.
Beware! Further details will spoil those who have not read the book.
Harriet is the leader of Group B – a second Wicked test group kept in a separate maze consisting of only girls. Harriet, along with her group, is smart, strong, and decisive. And like her male counterparts she has battled her way through the obstacles of the maze and proven herself as a vital strong asset.
Harriet also appears in the third book in the series, The Death Cure.
The 25-year-old actress is best known for her role as Missandei in the popular HBO hit Game of Thrones. For those unaware, her character is the handmaiden to Daenerys – also known as Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons.
Emmanuel has also appeared on the popular British programs Misfits and Hollyoaks. She’ll appear in The Fast and Furious 7 next year.
Interestingly, Emmanuel is actually the third Game of Thrones alum to join the Maze Runner family. Thomas Brody Sangster was the first to join the ranks during the first installment, and we recently learned that Aidan Gillen will be playing Rat-Man in the movie’s sequel.
Further casting announcements have included Rosa Salazar as Brenda, Jacob Lofland as Aris, and Giancarlo Esposito as Jorge.
