The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies‘ final character poster was released yesterday, and now Warner have released two new banners for the final Hobbit film.
Over the past two weeks we’ve seen character posters from the majority of the main characters from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, but now we have new banners from the finale.
In case fans missed any of the character posters, check out Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Luke Evans as Bard, and three new posters released over the weekend.
The two new banner posters feature Lee Pace as Thranduil and Cate Blanchett kissing Ian McKellen as he lays on the ground wounded as Gandalf:
In the first banner we see Thranduil charging into battle with his elven army, which most likely depicts his role in The Battle of the Five Armies, and in the second banner we see Galadriel kissing a wounded Gandalf. This is most likely after he’s rescued from being captured in The Desolation of Smaug film.
Ian McKellen has released a poster depicting Galadriel and Gandalf a little further apart from one another:
Thorin Oakenshield is shown on his throne, looking a bit like he’s lost a few of his dwarven company after the final film:
Bilbo’s adventure will come to a close in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, where he, Gandalf, and the dwarves fight against a deadly threat after Smaug’s attack on Laketown.
Fans are excited to see the Battle of the Five Armies, which refers to the film’s final fight between the Goblins and the Wargs against the Men of Dale, the Elves, the Dwarves, the Eagles and a Shape-shifter we saw in The Desolation of Smaug.
The Hobbit’s official Facebook page continues to release great promotional material from the film. Be on the look out for a new trailer as we approach The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies‘ December 17 release date.
