Two new sneak peeks for tomorrow night’s episode reveal that Howard may have bitten off more than he can throw on The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 3.
Howard may be going where no member of our geeky gang has gone before in The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 3 – but it seems unlikely that he is prepared for the trip. The episode, titled “The First Pitch Insufficiency,” will focus on Howard’s attempts to avoid humiliating himself when he is given the chance to toss the first pitch at an Angels game.
Two new sneak peeks from “The First Pitch Insufficiency” set the stage for the engineer’s dilemma. The first clip explains exactly how Howard got the opportunity to throw out the first pitch.
We also learn that Penny is rather scarred by the geeky gang’s previous attempt at athleticism. We would sympathize, but Quidditch is awesome and Penny should be proud to see Leonard pursue such a noble sport.
Given the second sneak peek, we may have to concede that playing Chaser is not the perfect preparation for Howard’s brief pitching career.
The preview and stills for The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 3 offer a few more hints at how Howard attempts to become a proficient pitcher… though we can’t say they inspire much hope. Meanwhile, the official synopsis for “The First Pitch Insufficiency” lets us know what Leonard, Penny, and Sheldon will be up to while Howard is winding up.
“Wolowitz is nervous after NASA asks him to throw out the first pitch at a Los Angeles Angels game,” CBS says. “Also, Leonard and Penny try to prove Sheldon wrong after he says that he and Amy are a “superior couple.””
Proving Sheldon wrong: That will definitely go well.
The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 3, “The First Pitch Insufficiency,” will air on Monday, Sept. 29 at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
