As promised, the official Hunger Games Instagram has been busy revealing new photos from Mockingjay, Part 1.
The stills released so far offer new looks at new and returning characters in the dystopian book to film adaptation.
The latest Mockingjay photo, released Thursday morning, depicts Wes Chatham in the role of Castor. In the book by Suzanne Collins, Castor is a cameraman under the direction of Cressida. They shoot Katniss going through the Districts. In this photo he appears to be operating a device – perhaps a remote to control a camera?
In this still we see Caesar Flickerman played by Stanley Tucci. The latest trailer for Mockingjay, Part 1 included a scene where Caesar is interviewing Peeta:
This photo depicts Beetee played by Jeffrey Wright. It looks like he’s in a control room at District 13:
Finally, this still shows Natalie Dormer in the role of Cressida. You can see the same device that Castor is holding in the lower right, suggesting that this is a scene where the two characters are working with Katniss:
Cressida’s partially-shaved head makes her one of the most badass-looking women in the film series to date.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 opens November 21, 2014. We’ll be sure to pass along the remainder of the photos in a few days. To keep on top of them all, visit the film’s Instagram page and follow them!
