The super-sized Teen Wolf season 4 finale has finally gotten its title and synopsis, and both definitely raise the mystery factor.
In a press release from MTV, it was revealed that Teen Wolf season 4, episode 12 will be titled “Smoke & Mirrors.” After several weeks of enduring rumors about the name of the finale, it’s nice to have a concrete answer to the question of what the episode will be called. And with a name like “Smoke & Mirrors,” it sounds like it’s going to be a doozy of a finale.
The synopsis is a simple one, stating, “Scott and Stiles return to La Iglesia to save the Pack from Kate.”
The episode will also run a bit longer than normal, clocking in at an extended 75 minutes. Teen Wolf finales are notorious for packing quite a punch, so it’s good to know we’ll have a little extra time with the show before it enters a hiatus until season 5.
Teen Wolf will be followed, as per usual, by an episode of Wolf Watch, which will also be getting an extended air-time. Instead of the usual half hour wrap-up show, Wolf Watch will air for 45 minutes.
The after show will be hosted by Jill Wagner, who will be chatting with Executive Producer Jeff Davis and stars Tyler Posey (Scott), Tyler Hoechlin (Derek) and Dylan O’Brien (Stiles).
On Sunday, September 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET, MTV will be airing Being Tyler Posey, an hour-long special “that follows the ‘Teen Wolf’ star off the set and into his personal life to see how he juggles his relationship, family, friends and being a celebrity.”
Teen Wolf season 4 will conclude next Monday, September 8, at 10:00 p.m. ET on MTV. It will return next summer for season 5, which will have a 20 episode run, split into two parts with 10 episodes each.
