Author James Dashner gets a look at the Maze Runner set and takes us with him behind the scenes in a new featurette.
Cameras were rolling (via IMDB) as Dashner took his first visit into the Glade. In this video he shares that experience with the rest of the world and gives audiences another vantage point into this dystopian world:
Within the short piece we get a closer look at some of the sets built to inhabit the Glade including the Shack, the location of a Griever attack, and what appears to be the animal pens.
“It is better than I could have ever dreamed,” says Dashner, who’s just as enthused and satisfied as he’s appeared to be all throughout the production process.
Also in the behind the scenes featurette, we see a larger view of the counsel room, as well as some longer shots of Thomas both hiding from the Grievers and resting in his hammock.
Promotion for the film is going strong, and as this article is being written, the principal cast finds themselves in London ready for a full day of press. Make sure to follow The Maze Runner on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to follow their progress throughout the day.
