Bloomsbury has finally revealed the final four covers in their new series of children’s jackets for the Harry Potter books in the UK.
UK publishing house Bloomsbury revealed the final four book jackets for their new line of Harry Potter covers on Wednesday. The new covers, designed by award-winning artist Jonny Duddle, are fittingly set to be published on September 1st of this year.
As with the previous three covers revealed by the publishing house, the latest set of four book jackets each feature a memorable scene from books one though four in J.K. Rowling’s beloved book series. The all new illustrations feature Harry thwarting a vicious Hungarian Horntail while swooping in to snatch the golden egg, a shot of the boy wizard soaring past Hogwarts on the back of a thestral, a shot of Harry and Dumbledore combating the inferi, and finally, an illustration of Harry’s fateful encounter with Lord Voldemort in the forbidden forest.
Previous cover reveals in the new book jackets designed by Duddle feature Harry taking a boat across the lake to Hogwarts for the first time, a shot of Fawkes warding off the basilisk while Harry poses at the ready with the sword of Gryffindor in the Chamber of Secrets, and an illustration of Harry casting his patronus in order to save Sirius by the lake in Prisoner of Azkaban.
