Guardians of the Galaxy has an eclectic soundtrack which features David Bowie, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye and much more. The release date for the soundtrack has been set and you can listen to some of the film’s best songs.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is headed to theaters on August 1, and now the soundtrack for the film is set to be released just a few days prior on July 29.
The film’s trailers have given us a look at some of the unique songs included on the soundtrack, with Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling” being the anthem to most of the trailers, along with the most recent extended TV spot giving us a short version of “Cherry Bomb,” by The Runaways.

Marvel is ramping up its promotion for Guardians of the Galaxy as it heads closer to its world premiere on August 1. We recently found out that fan-favorite Nathan Fillion will have a cameo in Guardians and you won’t believe who he’ll be playing.
Marvel recently released some new looks at Guardians of the Galaxy’s villains, which are Karen Gillan as Nebula and Lee Pace as Ronan The Accuser. We also got three new posters this week featuring Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon.
Guardians of the Galaxy’s recent trailer gave us some great looks at Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, and more importantly, showed us quite a bit more of Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon. It looks as though he’ll be quite talkative in the film.
Guardians of the Galaxy’s release date is set for August 1, 2014. Featuring an intergalactic group of Guardians, led by Star-Lord, they make a desperate stand to save the galaxy.
Two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper voices the machine-gun-wielding Rocket Raccoon and is joined by Vin Diesel as the tree-like Groot, with Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista filling out the leading roles.
