Unfortunately, there haven’t been any official casting announcements for the last few characters on our list, so we don’t have any photos or assumptions based on physical appearance for you. Sorry!
Violet
What we know: Not a whole lot, that’s for sure. According to a spoiler chat on E! Online, “she’s a pretty 16-year-old high schooler who is very unassuming…but she’s a lot tougher than you’d think.”
What we think: We’re all for strong female characters. The way that Violet has been described reminds us a lot of Lydia, so we could potentially see Lydia taking this Violet character under her wing in the same way as Scott and Stiles are mentoring Liam. However, the description of her character is pretty open for interpretation, so there’s as much of a chance of her being an antagonist as there is for her to be a protagonist.
Dr. Geyer
What we know: Dr. Geyer is the new hospital administrator (presumably because the previous administrator threw up his hands, said “Forget this!” and bolted at the first chance he got). According to E! Online, he has a charming personality and is really intelligent. This is all in addition to him being (in true Teen Wolf style) attractive.
What we think: Let’s start out with what E! thinks. While E! Online speculates that he could become Mama McCall’s new love interest, we’re still holding out for Sheriff Stilinski to fulfill that role. After the devastation that happened to Beacon Hills Hospital last season to the tune of “Bad Moon Rising,” we’re hoping that we won’t be seeing any more hospital takeovers for a while. In other words, we’d like to believe that Dr. Geyer is just a charismatic hospital doctor. However, we do have another theory about Dr. Geyer that you’ll find toward the end of this article…
Fahey
What we know: While we don’t know the actor who will be portraying him this season, Fahey was revealed as a “hired gun”-like character who’s “frightened, yet masculine” (which is a really interesting combination). He’s described as being in his late 30s, which makes him just a bit younger than our favorite Beacon Hills parents.
What we think: It’s interesting that we found out about his character even before we knew we had to worry about The Benefactor, so it’s quite possible that he was hired by someone else. Or, because his character was introduced to us as being frightened, we could also see Fahey as being someone who winds up fighting on Scott’s side after realizing the full magnitude of his assignment. We’re not quite sure yet what to make of Fahey, but we’re interested in seeing what role he plays this season.
The Benefactor
What we know: “Who is ‘The Benefactor’?” This is being hyped up to be the “Rosebud” of Teen Wolf. We literally know nothing about him aside from the fact that he’s hiring mercenaries and hitmen to take out all of the supernatural beings in Beacon Hills. That’s it. Aside from that, all we know is that we need to ask who he is. Or she. We don’t even know The Benefactor’s gender for sure!
What we think: If we had to make a guess this moment as to who we think will turn out to be The Benefactor, our money would be on Dr. Geyer. The Benefactor could be Dr. Geyer for the simple reasons that he’s intelligent, (presumably) well-off, and handsome. It’s always the good-looking people that you really need to watch out for. Plus, what better place to infiltrate and call “home base” than the Beacon Hills hospital? There’s so much information that flows through there on an hourly basis, not to mention the number of injured supernatural beings.
Other new faces to expect to see around Beacon Hills this season:
- The man with no mouth – He’s creepy as hell and we don’t even know what his purpose or role will be yet!
- The scary bone creatures (recently revealed to be “Berserkers”) – We’re 99.99% positive that these are Berserkers, which are Norse warriors that fight in a sort of trance-like fury (so they’re being controlled). However, if we are to go against the Norse mythology/add a bit to it, skeletons and the dead in general are deeply ingrained in Latin American culture. So we’re interested to see what sort of lore surrounds these creatures. It would be interesting if they were the skeletons of dead ancestors and relatives (which are greatly revered), especially since Peter Hale specifically asks, “Can’t someone in this town stay dead?” We could totally see something like this being a force that Scott’s pack has to overcome.
- Deputy Haigh – A “mean cop” that will surely impede on quite a few investigations. We’re hoping though that this deputy serves as a sort of catalyst for Deputy Parrish’s storyline.
- Ms. Fleming – We’re looking forward to meeting the new Beacon Hills math teacher. However, we’re going to try to not get too attached because Beacon Hills teachers don’t seem to have the longest lifespan (we say as we knock on wood for Mr. Yukimura).
