The Originals season 1 returns tonight with “The Big Uneasy” as the many different factions continue their quiet battle to decide who will rule over New Orleans.
Last time on ‘The Originals’:
We saw the werewolves eagerly awaiting the reversal of the curse, which was successful, so they now will transform on the full moon again like werewolves are supposed to do.
Klaus and Genevieve have been growing closer, and whether she is using him or not, it’s unsettling. The two of them hold enormous power, and when united, are certain to wreak havoc.
Elijah was on a quest for peace, and hosted meetings (excluding the werewolves, much to Hayley’s chagrin) of the feuding factions. In the end, he was successful in getting a treaty signed in blood by all the warring parties, but Klaus was quick to crush his good mood by telling him that his peace was destined to fail.
Klaus was certain of his failure because he is the force working behind the scenes to break this peace. He is secretly plotting to supply his werewolf brethren with moonstone rings to keep them from having to turn every full moon, imbibing them with power they haven’t seen in decades.
Webclips
One of the very best webclips we’ve ever gotten for The Originals, the first webclip shows Klaus and Elijah having a very serious discussion about loyalty and Elijah’s dedication to his family.
The second webclip shows Elijah making some changes to the homestead and Genevieve asking for permission for the witches to celebrate in the open for the first time since they were silenced by Marcel.
