Season 6’s battle rounds will be wrapping up tonight, and the top 20 will perform in the live play-offs tomorrow night, for the chance to represent their team in the live shows.
The Rest of the Battles
We’ve seen some incredible battles so far this season, but they’re not quite over yet. The rest of the contestants will be battling tonight, to finalize the top 20. At this point, the only coach that still has a steal is Blake Shelton.
After last week’s battles, the teams are as follows:
Team Adam
Moving on to the top 20: Delvin Choice, Christina Grimmie, and Morgan Wallen.
Competing tonight: Jake Barker, Brittnee Camelle, Dawn & Hawkes, and Kat Perkins.
Team Shakira
Moving on to the top 20: Tess Boyer, Deja Hall, Kristen Merlin, Patrick Thomson.
Competing tonight: Dani Moz and Clarissa Serna.
Team Usher
Moving on to the top 20: Stevie Jo, Josh Kaufman, T.J. Wilkins.
Competing tonight: Music Box, Melissa Jimenez, Bria Kelly, and Madilyn Paige.
Team Blake
Moving on to the top 20: Sisaundra Lewis, Audra McLaughlin, Jake Worthington.
Competing tonight: Kaleigh Glanton and Ryan Whyte Maloney.
The Live Play-offs
Once the battles are finished and the top 20 contestants have been chosen, they will take the stage Tuesday night to perform live in front of America for the first time, in the live play-off round. At the end of the show, each coach will choose two contestants to eliminate from their team, and the rest will perform for America’s votes next week as part of the top 12.
