Listen to all the songs from Glee season 5, episode 15, titled “Bash,” featuring songs by Aretha Franklin, Sweeney Todd and more.
On this week’s episode of Glee we’ll see our New Yorkers deal with an ugly attack on one of our favorite characters. Some of the songs are on the more somber side in order to reflect the tone of the episode, but we think this episode is going to be so important to Glee’s audience.
Preview all the songs from ‘Glee’ season 5, episode 15 below:
There is no doubt that parts of “Bash” are going to be pretty heavy and from what we’ve heard from the recordings it’s going to be great. We already discussed how beautiful “Colorblind” was last week and we know it’s only going to more moving to see it acted out on screen.
“Not While I’m Around” from the musical Sweeney Todd sounds amazing and we can’t wait to see Rachel, Sam, Blaine and Amber dedicate this song to Kurt. Normally we love the drama between the characters that Glee is notorious for, but it’s also such a treat to see the group acting as a family.
There are some lighter songs as well that we think will end up being a good balance to the heavy themes of this episode. “Broadway Baby” seems like it’s going to be a fun performance, especially since Lea Michelle and Darren Criss are real life Broadway babies! Also, with Amber Riley back, we get two show stopping solos from her. “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” sounds pretty flawless to us and we’re always into Amber singing some Aretha.
Which song are you most excited to see performed this week?
Glee season 5, episode 15 airs tomorrow, April 8 at 8 p.m. eastern/pacific on Fox.
