Listen to all the songs from Glee season 5, episode 14, titled “New New York,” featuring songs by Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra and more.
This week will be Glee’s first episode after making the full-time move to New York. We’re bound to see a ton of adjustments from new New Yorkers, Sam, Blaine and Artie, as well as deal with the consequences of some new living arrangements.
Preview all the songs from ‘Glee’ season 5, episode 14 below:
“You Make Me Feel So Young” by Frank Sinatra seems like it could be the calm before the storm between Blaine and Kurt. We know that the pair will already experience some living issues with both Sam and each other. The song is actually a stark difference to “Rockstar” by A Great Big World between Kurt and Elliot, which seems to have much more fun and feeling running through it. Trouble in paradise, can’t any couple ever be happy on Glee?
“Don’t Sleep In The Subway” by Petula Clark, sung by Artie and Rachel, could have something to do with Artie’s laptop getting stolen from him. It seems like it’ll be a fun song and it’s nice to see Artie getting more screen time.
The theme of this week definitely seems to be struggle. While some of the songs are great and uplifting, like “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors, there’s an underlying air of tension. No one said making it in New York was easy and it’ll be interesting to see just how the big city is effecting all of our characters.
Which song are you most excited to see performed this week?
Glee season 5, episode 14 airs tomorrow, April 1 at 8 p.m. eastern/pacific on Fox.
