James Rebhorn, best known recently for his role on Showtime’s Homeland, has died at the age of 65.
The actor has had a recurring role on Homeland, as Claire’s father Frank, since its inception. He most recently appeared in the season 3 finale titled “The Star,” which aired late last year. Some will also recognize him from his role as Reese on USA Network’s White Collar.
Rebhorn’s agent confirmed the news of his passing to DialMForMovies. “He died Friday afternoon, at home. He was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed,” the representative said.
Resurrection actress Frances Fisher tweeted about the news as well:
Shocked and saddened to hear of James Rebhorn's passing. Jim was a consummate actor with whom I had the pleasure to work when we were young.
