Castle season 6, episode 18, titled “The Way of the Ninja,” will be airing tonight on ABC, and this time the case involves a mysterious ninja, geishas, and a Castle in trouble.
In the 18th episode of the sixth season, Castle and Beckett start investigating a murder that somehow involves ninjas and geishas. The synopsis reads:
When a Japanese ballet dancer is mysteriously murdered, Castle and Beckett’s investigation into her secret life uncovers evidence that she was killed by a ninja, and now that ninja is coming after them
ABC also revealed five clips from the episode.
In the first clip, Castle, Ryan and Esposito are at a bar with some gorgeous women when Castle gets whisked away by one of them when they start asking about a victim named Jane. She tells Castle that he’s going to get in trouble if he keeps asking about her, and someone walks in on her and him at the same time Ryan gets pulled out of the bar.
In the second clip, Beckett and Castle are searching for clues inside a cookie factory when they come across a shrine of some sort with what appears to be the murder weapon. Beckett hears something, so she disappears to go look at what caused it when Castle gets a surprise visit from a ninja, who sneaked in and took the knife from his hand and then left within a matter of seconds.
In the third clip, Castle and Beckett try to explain to the Captain that they got attacked by a ninja when someone from the Japanese embassy comes in to try and get more information about what they have on Jane’s murder.
In the fourth clip, Castle and Becket argue about how much knowledge the woman from the embassy have when Ryan and Esposito say that the murderer could be someone from Jane’s ballet show who threatened to kill her only 24 hours earlier.
Finally, in the last clip we see the moment Castle and Beckett see the victim for the first time, and an annoying man who isn’t Lacie points out that she wasn’t stabbed but instead had a knife thrown at her from far away, which killed her instantly.
