Last night Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Beck. Check out some of the highlights from last night’s hilarious episode.
Jim Parsons helped Kate McKinnon open Saturday Night Live with his portrayal of American figure skater Johnny Weir appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show. Parsons played a spot-on impersonation of the flamboyant figure skater:
Parsons then went on to do a little song and number, attempting to differentiate himself from his character Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory.
In the first sketch of the night, Aidy Bryant played Tinker Bell’s half sister, named Tonker Bell, known for her feisty attitude.
Parsons then took creepy to a whole new level while portraying a fictional serial killer known as the Dance Floor Killer who had his own TV show on MTV. Check out the sketch below:
In another sketch, Parsons played one of several white men who were reading for a role in the Oscar nominated movie 12 Years A Slave. The guys had a hard time reading the language that was used in the script.
SNL head writer Colin Jost made his debut as one of the two Weekend Update correspondents replacing former correspondent and former head writer Seth Meyers. Check out his debut below:
Fans were treated to another version of Spotlightz, an acting camp for kids. In this sketch the kids of the camp saluted the Oscars by recreating their big moments:
