It is not surprising to learn that many of our favourite authors are also Harry Potter fans. And just like the rest of us, authors including John Green and Rainbow Rowell took to Twitter to share their thoughts and their frustrations. Shipping has always been a sensitive subject when it comes to Harry Potter. Historically the fandom has seen a huge divide between those fans who hoped for Harry and Hermione to end up together, and those who wanted Hermione to be with Ron.
